How was Alpenrose today? I hope you and the Speedvagen had a good race.
The Seattle Cyclocross series kicked off last weekend and I finished in 16th place for the first race in the single speed division.
Yowza! Way to rockit up north.
Alpenrose was fun- truly our first real cross race with the weather and course conditions as sloppy as theyre sposed to be. Of course with over a-freakin-thousand racers out there it was a jungle.
Right after the first lap, someone took me out from behind in a corner and broke my shifter. Ended up doing 4 more laps in the 12 cog... until my rear tire went flat. So I was pretty much single speeding it today but would rethink that gearing choice.
